Hi! I’m Erin.
I’m a former classroom teacher, a Jesus-loving homeschool mom, book junkie, podcast lover, exercise enthusiast, beginner knitter, sourdough maker, and a fellow traveler on the journey toward a more peaceful home.
Like many moms, I began homeschooling with good intentions and a deep desire to serve my family well — and quickly found myself overwhelmed. Teaching multiple children, caring for my home, and trying to live out my faith faithfully often felt like too much.
I wanted homeschooling to be joyful and meaningful. Instead, my days felt rushed, noisy, and heavy. I wondered if I was failing my children — or if I simply wasn’t cut out for this work.
Finding a Simpler Way
In the midst of that overwhelm, I discovered Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education. What drew me in wasn’t a perfect schedule or a long book list — it was the invitation to cultivate habits, pursue truth and beauty, intentionally plan, and see education as a way of life– seeing my children’s whole person.
But even then, I struggled.
Charlotte Mason sounded beautiful… and also confusing. Implementing her ideas with real children, real interruptions, and real life felt daunting. I didn’t need more theory — I needed a way to live it.
So I began simplifying. I focused on creating a clear schedule for myself and my children, gentle rhythms, living books, and small, faithful steps. Over time, our days began to change. Our homeschool became calmer. Learning became more delightful. And I began to trust that peace didn’t come from doing more — but it came from creating clarity and intention.
Why I Do This Work
Today, I help Christian homeschool moms who are overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward — especially those drawn to Charlotte Mason but unsure how to begin.
I believe:
- Homeschooling can be peaceful and joyful.
- You don’t have to implement Charlotte Mason perfectly for it to be effective.
- Clear rhythms and systems serve families — not the other way around.
- Faithful, ordinary days matter deeply.
My heart is to help you build a homeschool that supports your family’s real life — one rooted in faith, simplicity, and joy.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower homeschool moms to cultivate intentional, life-giving, and orderly days where love, Christ-centered discipleship and learning flourish together using a simplified version of the Charlotte Mason method.
My Approach
When I first began learning about Charlotte Mason’s approach, I was told I needed to start by offering the whole feast. While I could see the beauty in that vision, the reality felt heavy. As an overwhelmed homeschool mom, the idea of implementing every part of the method all at once felt more discouraging than inspiring.
So I gave myself permission to begin slowly.
Instead of striving for perfection, I focused on progress. I broke the method into small, manageable pieces and added more as my confidence grew. Little by little, our homeschool began to feel lighter, more peaceful, and more life-giving—not because I was doing everything, but because I was doing what I could.
This is the same gentle approach I share with other moms:
- Begin by building a strong daily schedule that supports both learning and rest.
- Evaluate habits and rhythms to create a smooth, peaceful homeschool day.
- Simplify the books for each subject, identifying which lessons can be enjoyed together as a family.
- Learn and implement the method gradually, allowing each subject to unfold as you grow in understanding.
This approach honors the spirit of a living education while meeting real moms exactly where they are.
